CHICAGO – Voting for the finals of the All-Star Performances of the Year is now open, and Temple All-American RB Bernard Pierce is a finalist, Intersport announced.

PHILADELPHIA – Three Temple Owls-- senior OL Pat Boyle, junior RB Bernard Pierce, and senior DE Adrian Robinson-- were named 2011 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Football Bowl Subdivision All-Stars on Monday.

PHILADELPHIA – Junior All-American RB Bernard Pierce (Ardmore, Pa.) announced today that he will forego his senior season at Temple University to enter the 2012 National Football League Draft.

CLEVELAND  – Temple junior RB Bernard Pierce (Ardmore, Pa.) has been named a fourth-team All-American by Phil Steele. The national football writer also recognized nine Owls for All-MAC honors.

PHILADELPHIA – The College Football Performance Awards honored junior RB Matt Brown as its National Kickoff Returner of the Week on Sunday. Junior RB Bernard Pierce was also honored as an Honorable Mention selection at running back.

CLEVELAND – Ten Temple Owls earned All-Mid-American Conference team honors for football, the league announced on Wednesday.
